The Importance of a Backup Plan

We've all heard the horror stories of the DJ/Entertainer that ruined a wedding, birthday party anniversary party, or special event because they didn't have a back-up plan. We live in an imperfect world and the truth is things go wrong. We've all heard the saying "failing to plan, is planning to fail". If we don't plan for something to go wrong, then inevitably something will. When hiring your DJ, ask him/her what their back-up plan is. Equipment can fail, bad wires can lead to unpleasant noise, crackles, and pops. Amplifiers die, wireless microphones may have interference, and today with the continuing growth in digital media, more and more DJ's are opting to use computers to play their music. We all know that your computer is about as reliable as a the weather in here in New England. So when the computer freezes, crashes, or overheats what is your DJ going to do to make sure that YOUR EVENT continues to run smoothly?

Here at Audio Events we have numerous back-up plans in place for each and every event. Every speaker is self powered with it's own amplifier, so if one speaker fails the other one won't. We bring two complete external hard drives that each contain a complete back up of our entire music library. We always have a duplicate DJ system with us at all times. In the event our computer shuts down, freezes or overheats, we can immediately switch to our iPad running DJ software. We preload our iPad with all of your song requests and an extensive library of the most requested and played music.

Don't let a unprofessional DJ wanna-be, ruin your wedding, birthday, anniversary, or other special event. Find a professional with a plan, and a Back-Up Plan!
